Hands-on assists are not about copying shapes. They’re about understanding principles.
Touch takes time, it takes skill, it takes confidence.
This 10hr weekend is an exploration into intelligent, safe & intuitive assisting; so you can develop your own way of working with hands-on adjustments.
Because no two bodies are the same.
This isn’t about memorising techniques, it’s about learning;
When to assist (and when not to)
How to enter and exit safely
How anatomy informs your touch
How to adapt to the person in front of you
How to build confidence that feels grounded
You’ll gain real-time practice, and receive in depth 1:1 feedback, so your touch becomes intuitive, but always guided by principle.
Hands on facilitation is a part of Yoga that deserves care, clairty & confidence.
If you feel called to deepen your understanding of assisting, this weekend is for you!
Spaces are limited.

About Samuel:
Samuel Nwokeka is a highly experienced yoga teacher, with passion and care shown to every student that moves into his presence. After starting yoga at 23 he quickly saw the impact it was having in regards to his outlook on life, 9 months later he found himself in India and has never looked back since.
He strongly believes that he is on his Dharmic path, and wants to being the experience of yoga to as many people as possible who are ready to listen. Since 2017 he has travelled the world moving through many different disciplines of ‘yoga’ such as 500 Hours of Rocket yoga, 200 Hours of Ashtanga Vinyasa, 300 Hours of Dharma Yoga, 300 Hours of Tripsichore, 200 Hours of yin yoga and 50 hours of Qi Gong as well as countless of workshops trying to absorb as much as the practice has to offer.
Samuel draws on all of these experiences, understanding that whatever the label, yoga is an experience, for him it is not something that can be taught, what we can teach is technique, how to move breathe, how to calm out minds, how to draw our attention onto things, but these in itself for Samuel is not necessarily ‘yoga’ it is the practitioner and the technique being applied together that creates ‘yoga’, an individual experience for everyone.
At the time of writing Samuel is 12 months away from becoming a registered Osteopath in the UK (2027), his love for the human body and understanding the way it works took him on this path, being at service to others helping them guide their body back from injury. He bring all of his anatomy experience into his teachings, guidance and intention.
When it comes to teaching teachers he feels this is the ultimate responsibility and takes great care and pride in all of the trainings he delivers. Ensuring that everyone who invests into the trainings feel like they’ve been seen, heard and have lots to take away from the training and apply not only to their teaching and practice but to their perspective.
A continued student of the practice Samuels favourite quote from his legend Larry Schultz - Live in the question
